HEDIS® Coordinator - AIMRRA
AIMRRA is recruiting experienced HEDIS® Coordinators for temporary/contract assignments with our healthcare client partners. This role is crucial for managing the medical record collection and data reporting process for the annual HEDIS® quality reporting season.
Core Responsibilities:
Medical Record Retrieval: Manage and execute the process of requesting and tracking medical records (paper and Electronic Health Record/EHR) from provider offices and hospitals to support HEDIS® data abstraction.
Provider & Member Outreach: Conduct professional telephonic outreach to providers to follow up on record requests and, in some cases, contact members to help close gaps in care and improve HEDIS® measure compliance.
Data Management: Track progress, enter data into abstraction tools, perform preliminary chart reviews, and update databases to ensure the accurate and secure handling of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Quality Support: Maintain all records and documentation for auditing purposes, ensuring all collected data is compliant with HEDIS®/NCQA standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with HEDIS® Reviewers, Quality Improvement teams, and internal staff to support timely project completion and identify data gaps.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Certified Healthcare Record Reviewer (CHRR®) related HEDIS project support or experience in a clinical/managed care setting.
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience navigating EHR/EMR systems.
Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills for professional provider interaction.
Education: Certified Healthcare Record Reviewer (CHRR®) or Recent HEDIS® experience. High School Diploma or GED required.
